Are you frustrated with not receiving more responsibility at work?

Scripture: His master said to him, “Well done, good and faithful slave; you were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things, enter into the joy of your master” (Matthew 25:21)

Today’s Thought: If you want more responsibility at work, first make sure that you are following through completely on all current assignments and duties. Do a good job with every task entrusted to you. Take advantage of every opportunity to demonstrate your value to the company and don’t consider any job beneath your dignity. Often it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

Be on time for work every day, keep appointments diligently, and return phone calls promptly. Complete reports and other paperwork thoroughly and timely, come prepared for meetings, and don’t leave little requests from your boss unfinished. Above all, don’t complain. In everything, maintain a cheerful disposition and a confident, optimistic outlook.

If you establish an attitude of faithfulness, persistence, and loyalty, it won’t take long for your boss to notice your efforts and reward you with increased responsibility.

Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men (Proverbs 22:29)

In everything maintain a cheerful disposition and a confident, optimistic outlook.
