Scripture: Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wife, making the most of your time (Ephesians 5:15-16).
Today’s Thought: If we allow ourselves to give way to distractions, we will lose focus on our work. Interruptions draw us away from important priorities, hamper our productivity, and increase the chance for errors. To minimize interruptions, plan your work, guard your boundaries, and learn how to excuse yourself politely and return quickly to the task at hand.
Another way to enhance your productivity is to set three key goals to accomplish each week. Keep a written record of the time spent working on each important task. At the end of the week, look back and evaluate your effort. Determine how much time was focused on the essentials. If your performance fails to match your goals, change your priorities for the next week. Stay focused on the target and your work will hit the bull’s-eye!
My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent (Proverbs 1:10).
To minimize interruptions, plan your work, guard your boundaries, and learn how to excuse yourself politely.
