Do you believe you can cheat without getting caught?

Scripture: And the LORD will by no means leave the guilty unpunished (Nahum 1:3).
Today’s Thought: When a certain business owner occasionally received double payments on accounts or overpayments in error, he developed the practice of keeping the money as additional income. This went on for ten years until one day a buyer approached the owner, offering to buy his business for millions of dollars. The owner thought he had it made, but when the buyers conducted an audit, they uncovered his dishonesty and canceled the purchase.
When the owner asked why they were backing out, the buyers replied, ”If you were dishonest all these years with your customers, what else have you lied about? We no longer have any confidence in you or your company.”
If you are dealing dishonestly in your business, remember that your sins will find you out. In the end, it won’t be worth the price you’ve paid to cheat. Honesty is still the best policy.
A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who makes haste to be rich will not go unpunished (Proverbs 28:20).
If you are dealing dishonestly in your business, remember that your sins will find you out.
