Scripture: But Moses’ hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus his hands were steady until the sun set (Exodus 17:12).
Today’s Thought: The cliché that it’s lonely at the top is true. As the burden of responsibility increases, it’s easy for a manager to feel isolated and discouraged. Your boss needs your encouragement and moral support.
When your boss does something you appreciate, speak up. Let him know how his actions have helped you. Praise examples of his good leadership.
Look for and ask your boss how you can help him in his responsibilities. As you help hold up his hands, success for all will follow.
Encouragement and enthusiasm are contagious. If you take it upon yourself to praise your boss’s efforts, you will encourage him to provide more positive leadership. Better leadership will, in turn, result in greater success for the business, which benefits everyone.
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity (Proverbs 17:17).
When your boss does something that you appreciate, speak up.
