Do you faithfully give your customers a full measure of your product or service?

Scripture: Can I justify wicked scales and a bag of deceptive weights? (Micah 6:11).
Today’s Thoughts: In an era of downsizing businesses, with the focus on cutting costs, it may also be tempting to cut corners with our products and services. And, unless we have directly cheated a customers, we might even believe that we are following Christian teaching about frugality and wise stewardship by making the most from our investment.
However, any time we fall short of fully serving a customer, or we provide anything less than our best product or service, we have used, in effect, “wicked scales.” Any time we fail to fill a cup of coffee, or knowingly ship a product that is not first-rate, or don’t make our best effort on behalf of a client, we have measured with deceptive weights.
God will not bless such a business. In fact, He warns that “you will eat, but you will not be satisfied …. You will try to remove … but you will not preserve” (Micah 6:14).
When we give our best, in full measure, to our customers every day, God will bless our endeavours, and we will dwell “in the midst of a fruitful field” (7:14).
Differing weights are an abomination to the LORD, and a false scale is not good (Proverbs 20:23).
When we give our best to our customers every day, God will bless our endeavors.
