Do you give a full day’s effort at work?

Scripture: Give and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For whatever measure you deal out to others, it will be dealt to you in return (Luke 6:38).


Today’s Thought: A staff member once complained to me about going home tired most days. Though I think he was looking for some sympathy, what I gave him was encouragement to keep giving his all at work. At times,

If we allow ourselves to become overly sympathetic rather than focusing on the work at hand, we are not providing the best leadership.


While I would agree that we should not be dragging ourselves home at night unable

to function after a day at work, there’s nothing wrong with being tired at the end of the day.

If we want to reap the highest rewards from our work, we must be willing to expend enough of ourselves to be tired.


Put your full energy and effort on the line each day, and success will follow.


The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the soul of the diligent is made fat (Proverbs 13:4).




There’s nothing wrong with being tired at the end of the day.
