Scripture: Fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person (Ecclesiastes 12:13).
Today’s Thought: As believers in Jesus Christ, we are free to walk in the light of God’s commandments by the power of the Holy Spirit at work in our hearts. But what about our non-Christian employees? Considering that God’s law “applies to every person,” do we hold them accountable to a biblical standard of excellence and integrity?
We can’t ask non-believers to act just like Christians in every respect, but we
can insist that our staff exhibit truth and honesty when dealing with customers, and that
they maintain a professional and kind disposition toward others. Make your standards
and expectations clear to all, and set a good example. Then, expect everyone to adhere
To your principles.
Insist that every employee work in a godly manner, and your business will be blessed by the Lord.
Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal faithfully are His delight (Proverbs 12:22).
Insist that every employee work in a godly manner, and your business will be blessed by the Lord.
