Scripture: Does a trap spring up from the earth when it captures nothing at all? (Amos 3:5).
Today’s Thought: One of the bedrock principles of successful selling is, “Don’t forget to ask for the order.” If you want to capture new business, you must be prepared to close the sale. To avoid coming up empty, take time before making a sales call to review the benefits of your product or service, apply them to the needs of your customer, and develop a clear and concise sales offer.
When you make your presentation, listen to what the buyer says, then outline step-by-step
how your product will meet their expressed needs. Confirm understanding and obtain agreement at each step. Most selling is really a series of small decisions leading up to the “buy” decision. Determine each step of the process and lead your customer down the path.
When all the terms have been discussed and agreed upon, ask for the sale and capture the business.
And there will be goats’ milk enough for your food (Proverbs 27:27).
Most selling is really a series of small decisions leading up to the “buy” decision.
