Scripture: Rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same (Romans 13:3).
Today’s Thought: Some things in business are pretty straightforward. If you’re consistently late for work and fail to follow instructions, your boss will fire you. It’s that simple. But while and appropriate, healthy fear of losing your job may keep you in line, a better way to show your boss respect is by doing great work and taking on more responsibility. If your performance is exemplary, you will gain trust and receive praise.
When you do you best work, there’s no need to live in fear of your boss’s opinion. Respect authority and you will maximize your career success.
