Scripture: Wise people think before they act; fools don’t and even brag about it! (Proverbs 13:16NLT).
Today’s Thought: Some business people pride themselves on their snap judgements and quick decisions. But speed is not always a virtue. While many decisions are no-brainers, others require thought if foolishness is to be avoided. Often, it’s the words that spill out before we have a chance to think that we later regret.
Develop the habit of stopping for a moment before you weigh in with your opinion or make a decision. First make sure that you understand the full situation that you’ve heard all sides and have considered more than your own perspective.
If more time is needed to make a wise choice, don’t be goaded into a quick decision.
Others will gain confidence in your judgement and decision-making ability when they see you take time for consideration.
Think through issues before you take action, and your wise choices will move your business forward with success.
My son, if your heart is wise, my own heart also will be glad; and my inmost being will rejoice, when your lips speak what is right (Proverbs 23:15-16).

Develop the habit of stopping for a moment before you weigh in with your opinion or make a decision.
