Scripture: See that you make them after the pattern for them, which was shown to you on the mountain (Exodus 25:40).
Today’s Thought: Nothing will undermine a customer’s confidence in your business faster than inconsistent quality or spotty service. As a manager, you are responsible for setting a standard of performance and then following up to make sure those standards are maintained.
Develop detailed, written instructions for your staff. Train them thoroughly until they understand your service requirements. Demonstrate how you want the work to be done, and then oversee them to make sure they understand your instructions.
Don’t put a new employee on the spot without providing adequate training. Customers don’t care if a service failure is caused by a rookie; all they want is results. Set clear standards for customer service and you will improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity (Proverbs 2:7).
As a manager you are responsible for setting a standard of performance and then following up to make sure those standards are maintained.
