Scripture: Your shepherds are sleeping. . . . Your people are scattered on the mountains, and there is no one to regather them (Nahum 3:18).
Today’s Thought: If you don’t have a passion for customer service, your staff won’t either, and your customers will eventually leave for greener pastures. But if service is a priority for your business, put your money where your mouth is and develop an incentive system to reward your employees.
First, define great customer service within the context of your business and make sure
that every employee knows how to meet the standard. Next, establish a bonus or other inducement
for staff members who demonstrate creativity and follow-through on delivering superior customer service.
Name an employee of the month, give public recognition for great service, and highlight success stories of employees who met a customer’s needs in an outstanding way.
Your staff will focus on those priorities that you reward. Reward excellent customer service and your customers will be well served.
The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day (Proverbs 4:18).
Establish a bonus for those who deliver superior customer service.
