Scripture: For the body is not one member, but many (Corinthians 12:14).
Today’s Thought: The president or general manager may be the leader and the most visible member of the team, but every employee has an important role to play, and every individual is worthy of being valued.
Take a few minutes to evaluate each member of your team. Write down one or more of their primary strengths and at least one area in which you are grateful for their contribution. Make a point of telling each person what you appreciate about them, and how their efforts enhance the success of the business and your department.
Genuine praise brings encouragement to the soul. If you develop a habit of noticing what your employees do well and take time to verbalize your appreciation of their efforts, staff morale will improve and your business team will be strengthened.
Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones (Proverbs 16:24).
Genuine praise brings encouragement to the soul.
