Scripture: A single witness shall not rise up against a man on account of any iniquity or any sin which he has committed; on the evidence of two or three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed (Deuteronomy 19:15).
Today’s Thought: In court cases, witnesses are cross-examined to determine the full truth about a situation, and as many witnesses are called as have pertinent information. When a staff member brings an issue to your attention, you may need to employ the same processes before taking action. Ask questions; dig a little deeper. Bring in any others who could add more information on the subject. Often a perspective will look valid until examined from another viewpoint.
Establish a habit of thorough investigation to determine the reality behind an individual’s point of view, and don’t take action without gathering all the facts. Due diligence will result in wise and profitable decisions that will keep your business on track.
